Problems

2012/05/05

- High and mid-frequency are too prominent at the listening spot. Low frequency tends to disappear. Use of graphic equalizer adds bass boost but changes the audio to digital like which is not preferred

- At times I can literally feel I am sitting in sound waves (too much reverberation ?) and the ears get tired after some listening. Doesnt always happen.

- Left channel (glass window side) always feels stronger compared to the right. Have swapped the speakers between left and right with no effect.

- JBL’s have a better bass response compared to the KEF’s. MacIntosh MA2275 with KT88’s has better bass low frequency output that the Line magnetic with 845 as the main driver tubes.

Room size is

Length – 3.25 meter

Width – 2.80 meter

Height – 2.30 meter

- Left side wall has glass window (double panel to block outside noise)

- Right side wall has cupboard with wooden folding doors. Cupboard has clothes on hanger and other stuff, i.e. they are not hollow boxes

- Walls have natural eco clay paint, there are no wall papers. The house itself is wooden.

The floor is covered with carpet for most part other than space necessary to open the cupboard door
